Abstract Paintings

This gallery shows artworks on canvas, paper and board. These abstract paintings vary in size from approximately A6 on board up to 190 x 140 cm on stretched canvas.

Painting on location

I also work on small scale paintings, post-card sized to A3 in the open air. These smaller pieces enable me to work on location around the Isle of Wight, often cycling or walking in the woods, on the Downs or along the coast. Sometimes they are visual notes of colour and texture; that I use to create paintings back in the studio.
