The fact is dreaming is free. Sometimes I wonder though if the art of daydreaming could disappear if there isn’t time to do it. If your attention in your every waking hour is consumed by a digital interface. Personally, I think it’s necessary for mental wellbeing, allowing yourself to do nothing and your mind to wander.
Nature helps give rise to desirable daydreaming experiences; for instance watching the play of light and shadow, breathing, listening to music, or looking at the intricacies of artworks; sculpture, painting.
